The AFL’s part-time librarians offer full services for 36 hours a week but it’s difficult to accomplish everything they would like to for the community. Over the years, the Library has been fortunate to have teens and adults donate their time and skills to enhance the Library’s ability to serve the community. Volunteers can be involved with many different kinds of activities: technology tutoring, sorting donated books, book shelving and repair, story telling, craft workshops, book and plant sales, organizing fundraising events, maintenance of building and grounds, and more. You may be interested in joining the Board of Trustees to help make decisions on the future of the Library. Please call 401-377-2770 and talk with the Librarian about your interests and available time.
